Who we are
HelloAG is a New York-based, Caribbean-focused firm working at the intersection of agricultural development, food systems, geospatial intelligence, data infrastructure, AI, market intelligence, and digital transformation.
Founded in 2018 by Cornell CALS alumni Olu H. Roberts, MPS ’19, and Jon Karall, PhD ’21.
We help governments, development organizations, financial institutions, agribusinesses, research institutions, and rural enterprises better understand, plan, operate, and transform agricultural systems.
Our thesis
Agriculture is not simply a production system. It is a connected ecosystem. Across many emerging economies — including much of the Caribbean — information remains fragmented across organizations, databases, reports, maps, markets, and field operations.
The challenge is not necessarily a lack of data. Agriculture is often connection-poor.
HelloAG works through food-systems integration: connecting physical, institutional, financial, and informational components so visibility becomes intelligence, and intelligence becomes action.
